The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to operate as an/a Road Traffic Safety Officer.

A Road Traffic Safety Officer develops, designs and implements road safety plans to promote safe road usage by the public.

A qualified learner will be able to:

• Design ,develop and implement a road safety plans
• Conduct road infrastructure design and layout on a road safety assessment
• Analyse a traffic report and generate an abstract which addresses road safety needs
• Research, analyse and assess relevant road safety data
