The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to operate as an/a Mechatronics Technician

A mechatronics technician repairs and maintains integrated industrial systems based on mechanical, electrical, electronic and information technology and advanced technology components.

A qualified learner will be able to:

• Fit, adjust and maintain industrial machinery
• Diagnose, find and repair faults in industrial machinery
• Install, test and commission industrial machinery
• Install, test, modify and commission advanced equipment and systems related to control and communication networks
