QCTO Occupational Qualification, Form 4, Matrix Framework for Laundry Worker – 117369

The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to operate as a Laundry Worker.
Laundry worker sorts (collect, identify), cleans and finishes (count and pack) laundry items (linen, clothing and other garments) within industrial and commercial cleaning environment.

A qualified learner will be able to:

• Sort and classify soiled laundry items and prepare loads for cleaning
• Use machines and chemicals to clean laundry items
• Conduct finishing functions for laundry operations
• Packing and assembling cleaned laundry items for dispatching to customers
