The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to operate as an Internal Audit Manager.

An Internal Audit Manager manages internal audit functions and engagements (including assurance and consulting services) in accordance with the International Professional Practices Framework in order to contribute to the optimisation of organisational objectives and leadership.

A qualified learner will be able to:

• Manage the internal audit function/activity in order to achieve objectives efficiently and effectively. (NQF Level: 8)
• Provide professional internal audit services in terms of IPPF requirements.
• Ensure the development of high-impact engagement communications that will facilitate appropriate decision making.
