The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to operate as an/a Hairdresser
An/A Hairdresser Hairdressers perform hair and scalp treatments, cut and style hair and perform chemical hairdressing services in a professional, safe and environmentally responsible manner.
A qualified learner will be able to:
- Shampooing, conditioning and treatment of hair and scalp
- Providing hairstyling services
- Providing hair cutting services
- Applying chemical services to hair
- Maintaining professional standards when interacting with clients
