The purpose of this skills programmes is to prepare a learner to operate as a Pedestrian-controlled Lift Truck F7 Driver.
The learner will understand the high-risk environment in which they will be operating. They will understand the physics of momentum and how to safely work in different environments. In addition, learners will develop communication skills in a noisy industrial environment.
A Pedestrian-controlled Lift Truck F7 Driver operates a Pedestrian-controlled Lift Truck F7 that is designed and constructed for the purpose of raising or lowering to any position, store or retrieve a load below rated capacity of 2000kg.
A qualified learner will be able to:
- Conduct Pedestrian-controlled Lift Truck F7 pre-start and start up checks
- Move and position loads with a Pedestrian-controlled Lift Truck F7
- Refuel/energise, park and shut down a Pedestrian-controlled Lift Truck F7
