The purpose of this skills programme is to prepare a learner to operate as a Reach Lift Truck F5 Driver

The learner will understand the high-risk environment in which they will be operating. They will have and understanding of the physics of momentum and how to safely work in different environments. The learners are also being taught communication skills in a noisy industrial environment. In addition, learners are exposed to communication skills in a noisy industrial environment.

A Reach Lift Truck F5 Driver operates a Reach Lift Truck F5 that is designed and constructed for the purpose of raising or lowering to any position, store or retrieve a load up to a rated capacity of 2500kg.

A qualified learner will be able to:

• Conduct Reach Lift Truck F5 pre-start and start up checks
• Move and position loads with a Reach Lift Truck F5 Refuel/energise, park and shut down a Reach Lift Truck F5
