The purpose of this skills programme is to prepare a learner to operate as a Counterbalanced Lift Truck F3 Driver

The learner will understand the high-risk environment in which they will be operating. They will have and understanding of the physics of momentum and how to safely work in different environments. In addition, learners will develop to communication skills in a noisy industrial environment. A Counterbalanced Lift Truck F3 Driver operate a Counterbalanced Lift Truck F3 that is designed and constructed for the purpose of raising or lowering to any position, store or retrieve a load up to a rated capacity of 15003kg.

A qualified learner will be able to:

• Conduct Counterbalanced Lift Truck F3 pre-start and start up checks
• Move and position loads with a Counterbalanced Lift Truck F3 Refuel/energise, park and shut down a Counterbalanced Lift Truck F3
