The purpose of this skills programme is to prepare a learner to operate as a Rough Terrain Lift Truck F11 Driver
The learner will understand the high-risk environment in which they will be operating. They will have and understanding of the physics of momentum and how to safely work in different environments. In addition, learners will develop communication skills in a noisy industrial environment.
A Rough Terrain Lift Truck F11 Driver operate a Rough Terrain Lift Truck F11 that is designed and constructed for the purpose of raising or lowering to any position, store or retrieve earthmoving/agricultural equipment with lift truck attachments.
A qualified learner will be able to:
- Conduct Rough Terrain Lift Truck F11 pre-start and start up checks
- Move and position loads with a Rough Terrain Lift Truck F11
- Refuel/energise, park and shut down a Rough Terrain Lift
