The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to operate as a Construction Plant Operator. A Construction Plant Operator operates surface construction plant and equipment in various construction sectors.
A qualified learner will be able to:
- Prepare equipment for operation
- Operate the equipment safely and efficiently according to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications
- Communicate and report operational performance
