Occupational Purpose
A compliance officer provides compliance services to assist management, including top management, to discharge their responsibilities to comply with applicable regulatory requirements.

Occupational Tasks

• Designing and implementing compliance risk management frameworks (NQF Level 6)
• Defining, assessing, maintaining and advising on the regulatory universe (NQF Level 6)
• Developing, facilitating compilation of and reviewing compliance risk management plans (NQF Level 6)
• Conducting compliance monitoring (NQF Level 6)
• Compiling and submitting internal and external compliance reports (NQF Level 6)
• Interacting with industry regulators, supervisors and stakeholders (NQF Level 6)
